We are looking for a Freelance Photo Art Director to shoot for eCommerce and catalog work.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Photo Art Director to work with a great Bay Area based company.

The Art Director must have prior photo art direction experience working with apparel, home furnishings, accessories, for editorial, catalog, and/or marketing.                                                                                           The ideal candidate will have a combination of editorial and eCommerce product exposure.

-Responsible for understanding and executing the creative vision on catalog/eCommerce photo shoots. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure visual merchandising consistency and brand standards are upheld within the assigned region
• Support Concept Stores and Elite Shops with action plan for store openings, store set execution, promotion collateral and focal product rollouts
• Provide accuracy and up-to-date information for all distributions of graphics, rollouts and seasonal strategies
• Through merchandising, create a retail environment that is innovative, unique and customer-friendly
• Work with U.S. Retail Services Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager to create seasonal floor plans and implement floor changes consistent with the store’s layout, customer demands and current product focus
• Re-merchandise displays, point of sale and select areas of the store, regularly, to maximize product sell-through
• Clinic store staff on merchandising basics; involve the staff in the visual maintenance of the store and assist in communicating to the staff, visual merchandising standards
• Identify key employee with whom to liaise, for communication and as a point-person
• Work with Global Retail Services in determining specific visual needs, such as fixtures, graphics and point of sales materials for stores
• Regularly communicate with sales team to determine specific initiatives and support needs
• Report weekly, through Call Report, all actions and support provided to dealers
• Liaise with U.S. Marketing to create merchandising plans that support the marketing schedule
• Plan and implement merchandising plans for key events
• Occasional apparel merchandising support for sales presentations

Physical Requirements:

• Regular travel will be required
• Must be able to safely and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders
• Must be able to work occasional long hours and weekends

Required Skills & Qualifications:
